When you attend one of my classes, come prepared to listen to your body.

Exercises are performed with slow controlled movements aimed at strengthening weak abdominal muscles along with strengthening core stability and stretching tight muscles. Through Pliates, you will learn to move with complete awareness. The awareness you gain in Pilates classes will follow you off the mat to sitting in your car and sitting at your desk. All of this helps you start to become aware of your posture. I will teach you to discover the joy of movement, build strength and increase your flexibility.

What is Pilates?

The Pilates method was the creation of Joseph Pilates, a man years ahead of his time who developed a exercise method originally called contrology. His methods of exercising reflected his belief in the importance of the minds control over the body.

Pilates is a form of body conditioning aiming to address dysfunctional movement and muscular imbalances. The method has been adapted over the years still remaining true to Pilates Principles.

Pilates is for everyone regardless of age and fitness levels.
